Kidz Bop Meets Furries?
Aug. 2nd, 2005 03:12 pmThe new Kidz Bop CD is out with them singing pop hits from Green Day, Franz Ferdinand, Kelly Clarkson and more.
But this video of a girl playing with plushies and then rocking out with them in real life is downright Lolita-creepy. The little girl is lip-synching to Kelly Clarkson (which is creepy on its own), and the Kidz Bop thing only happens in the chorus. Off-key no less.
Of course the best part of the video are some of the members of the kid audience who are completely losing it. I don't know why, but I keep thinking of a Sonic Youth video when I see this... *shudder*
Watch the video here or here
Here's Kelly Clarkson's original video for the song "Since U Been Gone" here.
I think the Kidz Bop video is sexier... and I'm so going to Hell for admiting that.
The whole Kidz Bop thing is a bit creepy and annoying.
Kids singing songs that they don't understand or truly appreciate. Ick.
They even have the Hall & Oates song "Rich Girl" on this disc. Are they nuts?
