Weird News = Blockbuster Movies

Whenever I need to practice writing fiction... I like to go to Fark.com and look at the headlines, then pick a story and expand on it.

Of course, the more I read the news stories listed on Fark, the more I want to option them for movie screenplays.

Here's just a few that I could see being blockbusters...

"Facts of Life" reunion and DVD!

Cast members of the sitcom "The Facts of Life" will be reuniting on "The Today Show" Wed. morning to talk about the DVD release of the first two seasons!

Cast members to appear include Nancy McKeon, Lisa Whelchel, Kim Fields, and Mindy Cohn. The segment will air during the second half of the program. Charlotte Rae, however, who played Mrs. Garrett won't be making an appearance... and don't count on George Clooney either. Drats!
