Five things I did for the first time this year:
1. Was chased around the office by a co-worker wearing a Wampa costume.
2. Got my white belt in Tae Kwon Do.
3. Published an article in Star Wars Insider.
4. Learned how to restring my Les Paul.
5. Gave a lot of money to Red Cross and ASPCA.
Five things I'm looking forward to in '06:
1. Publishing another book, and finish writing my novel.
2. Getting more magazine freelance work.
3. Going to more art shows.
4. Getting back into shape.
5. Making more friends.
Best household additions in '06:
1. Gladis
2. Various taxidermied insects.
3. More carnivorus plants.
4. Oil painting portrait of Sophie by my pal Shardcore.

Five things within my grasp that delight me:
1. Sophie snoring at my side.
2. Iced tea with freshly crushed ice and lemon!
3. Old worn-out jeans.
4. Comfy blanket fresh out of the dryer smelling of Downy.
5. My Powerbook laptop
Five things that riled me up in '05:
1. Politicians trying to outlaw pitbulls from San Fran.
2. My VW Beetle constantly attempting suicide.
3. The mistreatment of Katrina victims.
4. Dubya and his dumbass mistakes that cost lives.
5. Sophie getting mysteriously sick. (She's fine now though -- whew!)
Six people who really had my back this year:

1.gatodama: She helped me deal with a stupid boy I liked. In fact, she's been cheering me up ever since.
2.chefgrrl: Full of good advice and good cheer.
3.gingerbourbon: Told me like it is...even when I didn't want to hear it.
4.jedi_haiku: Kept me laughin to distract me from hiring a hit man.
5.itsolivia and ioerror: For reminding me to look at the beauty in everything from photography to people.
6.neutron_x: For going with me to look at used cars and avoid the vampire salesmen at SF Honda!
Five things I should be doing right now instead of writing this list:
1. Writing up the book proposals.
2. Catching up on current events.
3. Reading one of the many books I brought with me.
4. Making dinner.
5. Updating Grrl.com.
