Spooky, Scary Nightmares
Dec. 8th, 2004 07:01 pmLast night I had a weird nightmare where a giant orange spider (the size a bowling ball) fell from the ceiling and landed ontop of my comforter with me underneath!!!!
I woke up so scared I literally jumped out of bed and scrambled for the lightswitch, thinking the spider was real. As I rubbed my eyes in the blinding light, I realized I had dreamt it all and that there was nothing on my bed.
I was pretty shaken the rest of the evening.
I wonder if it was all due to the extra horseradish I had in my Bloody Mary at Dan's B-day gathering at the Latin. I've heard spicy food can cause nightmares, so maybe that was it.
All I know is that lately I've been woken up by really odd stuff. During my hectic stay at my dad's house over Thanksgiving, I woke up from as sound sleep when I heard some child's voice whisper loudly in my ear, "Get up now, Bonnie!" And opened my eyes instantly -- seriously spooked.
When was the last time a nightmare was so belivable that you woke up thinking it was real? Please share so I don't feel like I'm going completely nutters.
