Director Chris Cunningham is by far one of the most creative and original talents to ever get behind a video camera. His music videos and commercials are always surreal as in his "Mental Wealth" Playstation commercial and beautiful like his Portishead video to "Only You" and "All is Full of Love" by Bjork.

According to his IMDB, he's done special effects for such films as A.I., Alien: Resurrection, Alien³, Hardware and Clive Barker's Nightbreed. But I keep hoping one day he'll finally decide to direct a full-length movie all by himself. I can only imagine how amazing he would be in creating the film adaptations to such comics as Sandman, Lucifer or Fables.

His horror films would be more like art than the crap torture porn that's out now. If you watch his video for the Horrors' song "Sheena is a Parasite" you might get a small dose of the kind of creative creepiness Cunningham is capable of.

His videos for Aphex Twin -- specifically "Rubber Johnny" and "Come to Daddy" -- still give me nightmares.
