IMT Labs – Creative Content Writer
IMT Labs is a global provider of consumer-focused instant messaging chatbots and our first character “Spleak” is used by more than one million young people every month. We are looking for new, energetic members of the IMT Labs team to help Spleak reach her full potential as an international star. The company is expanding rapidly and is looking to hire a Creative Content Writer to be based primarily in San Francisco, CA. IMT Labs has strong VC backing and offices in San Francisco, Copenhagen, Denmark, and Delhi, India.
Spleak is a 21 year-old virtual girl who lives in New York and hopes to soon land a record contract. She currently goes to school and spend lots of time with her friends. She is available to play games, share stories, or chat anytime on MSN Messenger, eBuddy, Meebo (buddy name: spleak@hotmail.com) and will soon be available on even more leading instant messenger platforms.
The Creative Content Writer will be responsible for developing creative, fun, and compelling content for Spleak and her friends and for participating in the development and evolution of Spleak and her friends as characters. You have the opportunity to create international celebrities – how cool is that?
Key responsibilities for the Creative Content Writer include:
• Writing the IM dialogue for Spleak and the other characters (i.e. when a user asks Spleak how her date was last night, how will she respond?)
• Writing Spleak’s diary entries
• Developing and maintaining blogs for Spleak and other characters (topics may include: celebrity gossip, movies, music, fashion, health & beauty, sports, etc…)
• Creating content for Spleak’s website, MySpace, Microsoft Spaces, etc…
• Participating in the development and evolution of Spleak and her friends as characters (who are they? how does their story develop?…)
Qualifications for the Creative Content Writer:
• Enthusiasm about working in a fast paced, high growth start-up environment
• Strong familiarity with IM, blogs, and the Internet generally
• Deep understanding of and a passion for the interests and activities of teenagers and young adults
• Creative Writing or similar degree from a leading university
